Vickie M Seler

Vickie M. Seler, 77, of McClure passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2025 at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Mifflintown.

She was born December 22, 1948 in Lewistown, a daughter of the late William L. Peters Sr. and Kathryn (Snyder) Peters Mitchell and her stepfather Clarence Mitchell Sr. On October 19, 1968 she married Jeffrey L. Seler who survives.

Vickie was a graduate of West Snyder High School with the class of 1967. She went on to earn an associate's degree in nursing from W.A.C.C.

She was a life-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McClure where she was a choir member.

Vickie was a member of the McClure Women's Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 942. She enjoyed crafting with her husband and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Jeffrey of 57 years, she is survived by one son, Michael Seler; four grandchildren, Cody, Kristijana, Brooke, and Brinley Seler; five great-grandchildren, Vivienne Seler, Aria Snyder, Cory Swisher, Makayla Swisher, and Linden Seler; one sister, Sharon (Darvin) Ort; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elmer Seler Jr., Norma Brengle, Debbie (Darwin) Bobb Jr., Rev. Dennis (Rev. Debbie) Seler, Bonnie Seler, Dixie Seler, and Delores Lepley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William L. Peters Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Terry, David, Keith, and Steven Seler.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 23 from 9:30-11:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 W. Specht St., McClure followed by the funeral service at 11:30 with Rev. Lisa Schuster officiating.

Burial will held at the convenience of the family in St. Peters Independent Bible Church Cemetery, Beavertown.

Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
