Timothy R. DeLong, 67, Milton, Fla.
Timothy R. DeLong, 67, of Milton, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home.
He was born March 11, 1956, in Lewisburg, a son of Edna (Dolly) Smerroskie and the late James E. DeLong.
Tim attended West Snyder High School and worked as a contractor until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Troy (Amy) DeLong, Tonya (Shawn) Morris, Ashley (Ray) Rimel, Amanda (Kyle) Buttorf, and Teagan DeLong; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Kim DeLong; one brother, Zachary DeLong; nephew, Shaun Knepp; his aunt, Barb Geedey and her children, James, Jerald, Kathy, and Cindy; and many relatives too numerous to mention.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Casper Smerroskie; paternal grandparents, Earl and Isabell DeLong; maternal grandparents, Frank and Edna Klinepeter.
Tim leaves behind a void in all who knew him that can never be filled. He was a free spirit and lived life on his own terms. He will be sadly missed.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
