Ruth Bowersox Obituary
After a loving vigil by her family, Ruth Irene (Bachman) Bowersox entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Formerly from Middleburg, she spent the last year and a half in Buffalo Valley Nursing Home, Lewisburg, PA.
Born in Derry Township, Mifflin County, on August 12, 1928, Ruth was the daughter of Albert P. and Ethel G. (Zerbe) Bachman, and was the youngest of her sisters Margaret Gentzel and Helen Knepp.
In addition to her parents and sisters, Ruth was predeceased by her former husbands Paul W. Kline, Sr. and Donald Bowersox, as well as three of her children: David Kline, Donald Kline, and Debra Kline; and three grandchildren: Michelle Kline, Jaclyn Kline, and Braddon Hackenberg.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Dianne (Barry) Hackenberg, a son Dale (Lawana) Kline, and a daughter-in-law Deborah Kline. Also surviving are grandchildren, Gwen Kline, Stephanie (Scott) Friel, Douglas (Loni) Kline, Daniel Kline, Victoria Lamb, Tracy Dixon, Jordan Hackenberg, Kevin (Cheyenne) Hackenberg, Jonathan (Jennifer) Lucier, Kristin (Chad) Fultz, and Greta Kline; great-grandchildren, Mason Friel, Adisson Friel, Payton Kline, Matthew (Katie) Jackson, Justin (Stacey) Jackson, Blake Ewaskey, Hunter Ewaskey, Fox Hackenberg, Zachariah Lucier, Maria Fultz, Cole Fultz, Isaiah Fultz, Rebekah Hollenbach, Ethan Hollenbach, and Joseph Hollenbach; great-great grandchildren; Gabrianna Vazquez, Faith Vazquez, Zoriana Jackson, Addison Jackson, Cole Jackson; and great-great-great granddaughter, Bella Galarza.
Ruth was a kind and generous person, always putting the needs and joys of others before her own.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Carl Bergerson of St. Paul's Reformed Church of Beavertown officiating.
Burial will be held in Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs.
