Ronald E. Snook, 76, Beavertown

Ronald E. Snook, 76, of Beavertown passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27 at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.

He was born April 2, 1948 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Stanford T. and Alice C. (Fultz) Snook. In November 1966 he married the former Yvonne D. Hughes who survives.

Ronald was a 1966 graduate of West Snyder High School and went on to graduate from Penn State with an associate's degree in agriculture in 1968.

He was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church of Beavertown.

Ronald worked at the Klingler Feed Mill in Middlecreek and then went on to work at the Agronomy Center in Thompsontown. He retired from Wood-Mode in 2011 with more than 30 years of service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. Ronald loved NASCAR and amusement parks, especially Knoebel's. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Yvonne, he is survived by three children, Roger L. (Jennifer) Snook, Bryan E. (Danelle) Snook and Krystal L. (Dale) Josephson; six grandchildren, Andrea, Renee, Aidan, Emeline, Andrew Snook and Kira Josephson; one great-granddaughter, Elsie Nicole Grimes; two sisters, Patricia Yetter and Madeline Kratzer.

Ronald was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy; one sister, Wadena Wagner; three brothers-in-law, Douglas Kratzer, Bill Wagner and Marvin Yetter.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 31 from 6-8 pm at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown and again on Saturday from 10-11 am followed by the funeral service at 11 with Rev. Carl Bergerson officiating.

Burial will follow in Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Ronald's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Dr. Ste 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
