Robert G Mazzoni

Robert G. Mazzoni, age 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Robert was born in Vineland, NJ, son of the late Marie (Bacigalupo) and Joseph “George” Mazzoni. Robert graduated from Vineland High School and went on to graduate from Goldey Beacom College with an associate’s degree in accounting. Robert went to work for Worthey Brothers Corporation until his retirement. Robert’s faith meant a lot to him, and he was an active member at Unity Church (formerly Zion Church) in Wilmington where he was a pivotal member of their food pantry. In his free time, Robert enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, N.J, Charleston, S.C, and internationally to Germany and Italy; volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America; and supporting the Jaycees of Delaware. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Louis Mazzoni.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Diane Bobb Mazzoni; daughter, Helen, and her husband John Lillard; son, Bob Mazzoni and his fiancée, Shari; grandchildren, Ashley, Brianna, Caitlin, Mary, and Colin; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephew, Annette Curfman, wife of Tom, Michelle Luciotti, wife of Dave, and Mark Baker, husband of Melinda; and close family friends whom he all loved.

A visitation for Robert will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Unity Church, 2101 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805, where friends and family may call from 1-2pm, with a funeral service following at 2pm.

Burial will be held privately and is arranged by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, PA.
