Michael J Bobb

Michael J. Bobb, 63, of Beavertown went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 3 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born November 30, 1960 in Norristown, a son of Mary F. (Gross) Bobb and the late Charles R. Bobb. On October 29, 1983 he married his high school sweetheart Tracey L. (Moyer) who survives. They were happily married for 40 years.
Michael was a 1979 graduate of West Snyder High School and then went on to earn his bachelors of science in mechanical engineering degree from Penn State in 1983.
He was a very Godly man and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Selinsgrove.
Michael was a 20 plus year member of the Boy Scouts, a foster parent for four years for four children, and co-chair for the Immaculate Conception Church Strawberry Festival for 16 years. He was also the executive director at the Middlecreek Area Community Center for 4 years and was a current member on the board. He was a driving force in developing the MACC into a YMCA. Most importantly, Michael loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Tracey and his mother, Mary, Michael is survived by four children, Brian (Lauren) Bobb, Lindsey Anderson, Aaron (Felicia) Bobb, and Lauren (Tommy) Didyoung; nine grandchildren, Charles, Lucas, David, Cody, Grace, Jade, Lina, Asher, and Hunter; four brothers, Mark, Matthew, Brent, and Andy Bobb; seven sisters, Barbara Keffer, Alicia Thomas, Mary Mace, Amy Moore, Julie Wright, Polly Hanff, and Laura Sonderman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 12 from 6-8 pm at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 13 at 11 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 112 Fairview Dr., Selinsgrove, with Father Joshua Cavender, Celebrant.
Burial will be held in Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs.
