Lynn C Thomas

Lynn C. Thomas, 79, of Beavertown passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born December 21, 1945 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Carl H. and Sara M. (Hassinger) Thomas. He married the former Linda G. Birk on June 4, 1966 who survives. Lynn's passing breaks a marital union of 59 years.

Lynn was a 1963 graduate of West Snyder High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country from 1963-1966.

He formerly attended Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Troxelville.

Lynn owned and operated Lynn C. Thomas Lawn and Garden Supply in Beavertown. He also worked at the Beavertown Weaving Mill and Wood-Mode until his retirement. After retiring he drove a transport van for Conewago Snyder in Beavertown.

Lynn was a member of the Masonic Lodge #619 and the Moose Lodge 1229 both of Middleburg. He enjoyed playing bingo at the MACC and the Middleburg Moose Lodge, hunting and spending time at the hunting camp. He also enjoyed attending auctions with his wife Linda. Lynn volunteered his time with the Beaver Springs Fire and Ambulance Co. and was a caretaker for the Beavertown War Memorial Rose Garden. Lynn will always be remembered as outgoing and a jokester.

Surviving in addition to his wife Linda are two daughters, Amy (Don) Traub and Melodee Minium; four grandchildren, Donnie Traub and his fiancé Isabella Myers, Thomas Traub, Jordan Minium and his companion Maddison Hackenberg, and Maggie Minium; three great-grandchildren, Xavier, Kai, and Jordan; one sister, Rita (John) Solie; one aunt, Arla DeCamera; one sister-in-law, Martha Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred A. Thomas.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 21 from 1-2:45 pm at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown. A masonic service will be held at 2:45 followed by the funeral service at 3 with Rev. James Plank officiating.

Full military honors accorded by the Middlewest Veterans Honor Guard will follow the funeral service.
