Lois E (Raup) Clark Obituary
Lois E. Clark, 100, of Beavertown, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at her home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Massillon, Ohio, a daughter of the late Henry C. and Maria L. (Gortner) Raup. In April 1954 she married Glen H. Clark who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1995.
Lois was a graduate of Montgomery High School with the class of 1940. She then went on to graduate from Lock Haven Teacher's College in 1942 with a bachelor's degree.
Lois taught second grade at Beaver Adams Elementary School from 1942 until her retirement in 1978.
She was a member of the Snyder County Historical Society and the Pennsylvania State Association of Retired Teachers.
Surviving are five children, Betty DeBaere of North Augusta, SC, Patsy Wagner of Shamokin Dam, Robert (Nancy) Clark of East Aurora, NY, Rosa Horn (Wilton McPherson) of Buffalo, NY, Michael Clark (Albert Laguer) of Palm Springs, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and one on the way, 24 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Lois was preceded in death by three children, David, Donald, and Barbara Clark; and one sister, Catherine Quintero.
Family and friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown followed by the funeral service at 2 with Rev. Kathy Mercado officiating.
Burial will be in McClure Union Cemetery.
