Beaver Springs, Pennsylvania - Jeremy L. Rhodes, 46, Beaver Springs
Jeremy L. Rhodes was born on October 23, 1979 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Darrell E. and Paulette (Bingaman) Rhodes and David and Patti L. (Earnest) Forsythe, Jr.
He attended West Snyder High School until he convinced his parents to allow him to take the GED exam at the age of seventeen. Shortly after obtaining the GED, he joined the US Army. Following graduation from basic training, he finished jump school and became an airborne Army ranger. Jeremy spent eight years in the Army with much of his time deployed to other countries to include three tours in Iraq.
Jeremy passed on March 10, 2026 due to an accident while he was enjoying a beautiful Spring day on his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patti Forsythe and her husband David Forsythe as well as two brothers, Paul Blazer and Gene Rhodes.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Paulette Rhodes, and two sisters, Cherry Blazer and Brandi Fisher. He is also survived by his two children, Christopher and Joslyan Rhodes, and his grandchildren Hayla, Koleson, and TerryLee. He was well loved by his many nieces and nephews, James Fisher IV and Rayna Edminston; Frankie, Alex, and Sammy Landis; Dustin and Amanda Riden. They have many funny memories (many not necessarily appropriate for print) that they will hold on to. His warmth and humor will be missed during family gatherings.
Jeremy lived and enjoyed a simple life. He had a huge heart and was always ready to help anyone with whatever he could. He loved his motorcycle and probably wouldn't have chosen to be doing anything else with his last day on earth.
The family will be receiving visitors at the Kreamer Funeral Home 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
