Jennie M Saylor

Jennie M. Saylor, 87, of Lewistown, formerly of Middleburg passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.

She was born September 14, 1938, in Middleburg, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Erma H. (Ulrich) Hummel. On November 15, 1980, she married Ronald R. "Coon" Saylor who preceded her in death on May 12, 2022.

She was a member of St. Paul's "Erdley's" Lutheran Church, Middleburg where she also served on the women's guild.

Jennie loved her truck, going to church, bird watching, walking, and sitting on her porch waving to people as they went by. She especially loved spending time with her family and was known for always being on the go.

Jennie worked at the Beavertown Silk Mill, Troutman's Meat Market, Blough Wagner, and the Middleburg Auction Barn.

Surviving are three daughters, JoLene Floyd, Julie Goss, and Kelly Dooley; two grandchildren, Andrew Fike and Matthew Aikey.

She was preceded in death by one son, Corey Goss; one daughter, Lisa Goss; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Aikey.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1 from 10:30- 11 am at St. Paul's "Erdley's" Lutheran Church, 2337 Erdley Church Rd., Middleburg followed by a memorial service at 11 with Rev. Ann Zimmerman officiating.

Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Jennie's memory may be made to St. Paul's "Erdley's" Lutheran Church Women's Guild, 2337 Erdley Church Rd., Middleburg, PA 17842.

Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
