Jayden Kessler Obituary

Jayden Benjamin Kessler, 16, of Beavertown, entered into Heaven Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in the woods near his home, where he loved to be.
He was born in Lewisburg on Jan. 11, 2008, to Chuck III and Erin (Bowser) Kessler.
Jayden was homeschooled but attended Midd-West schools prior to 2020. He attended church at the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy in East Salem.
Jayden loved to watch the Green Bay Packers, the Pittsburgh Penguins and NASCAR. He and his mom had several drivers that they liked and several they loved to dislike. He liked tractor pulls and was looking forward to pulling someday, though he did have many pulls of his own across the living room floor or the kitchen table.
Jayden loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to build survival shelters in the woods and was putting together a survival bag. He loved trips to Nogle's Gun Shop and the shooting range. Jayden loved to help his dad and pappy around the farm. He would jump in and help anyone at any time. He had plans to study diesel technology and work on the farm with his dad.
Jayden was a member of the Good-Time 4H Club and the Union County 4H Teen Council. He loved showing animals and working with livestock. He was a born cattleman. Jayden also participated in both livestock and potato judging.
In addition to his parents Jayden is survived by a large family which includes his older sister, Ashley; older brother, Jake; and the family dogs, Buttercup and Winchester, whom he loved.
Additionally, he is survived by his grandfather, Dale Bowser; grandparents, Charles Jr. and Jan Kessler; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Snitzhofer and Carol Kessler; uncle, Ethan Bowser; aunts, Beth Bowser and boyfriend Earl, Erica Bowser and boyfriend Dale, Jessica Scott and husband Terry; cousins, Connor, Chase, Cohen, Archer, Tyler and Theo; as well as his dad's two best friends who were like uncles, Jed Hood and Ben Moyer; and many, many extended family members.
He was greeted in Heaven by his mamal, Faith Bowser; great-pappy, Kermit Mack; great-grandparents, Jim and Hazel Bowser; great-grandfather, Charles Kessler Sr.; great-great-grandparents, Robert and Ruth Spigelmeyer; and great-grandparents, Larry Sr. and Lucy Klingler.
