James R. Kreamer, 71, of Troxelville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1953 in Lewisburg, a son of Lucille A. (Zieber) Kreamer and the late John F. Kreamer Sr. On November 23, 1974 he married the former Sue A. Wagner who survives.
James was a 1971 graduate of West Snyder High School and SUN Area Technical School.
He was a member of Samuel’s Church in McClure.
James worked in the maintenance department at Lozier in McClure for 40 years until his retirement in 2018.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping and loved woodworking. He also enjoyed coaching little league for the Troxelville Pirates. His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother and wife Sue of 50 years, he is survived by three children, Korrynn S. (Jim) Long, Bethani A. (Scott) Hocker and Traviss J. (Amanda) Kreamer; one bonus daughter, Victoria Hostetler; ten grandchildren, Joseph Ross and his companion Makayla Byers, Madison Ross, Trinyti Ross and fiancée Camden Shawver, Joshua Ross and companion Evelyn Suydam, Elise Ross, Jacob Ross, Keragyn Hocker, Keytinn Hocker, Maddinn Hocker, and Vivian Hocker; one bonus granddaughter, Danika Barger; four great-grandchildren, Maddalynn, Ethan, Maddox and River; one brother, John F. (Cindy) Kreamer Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two miniature Collies, Jericho and Genesis.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10-11 am at Samuel’s Church, 480 Samuel’s Church Rd., McClure followed by a celebration of life service at 11 am with Pastor Clark Kelsey officiating.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
