Irene I. Kline, 93, Beaver Springs

Irene I. Kline, 93, of Beaver Springs passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at Brookline Healthcare and Rehab Center, Mifflintown.

She was born Dec. 23, 1929 in Beaver Springs, a daughter of the late Kimber Sr. and Lula (Haffley) Kline.

Irene was a 1947 graduate of Beaver Vocational High School.

She was a life time attendee of Christ Church in Beaver Springs.

Irene worked as a secretary at Beavertown Block, Kline Motors and AARP in Harrisburg.

She was a foster grandparent for the Midd-West School District. Irene enjoyed playing cards, games and going to the Senior Center in Beaver Springs.

Surviving are four children, Richard “Butch” (Sandra) Hoy, Jerry (Linda) Hoy, Kim (Hazel) Hoy and Beverly (Phil) Lash; six grandchildren, Douglas and Daniel Hoy, Jessica Hetrick, Amy Zechman, Jason and Bryan Hoy; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Bair and Sara Kline; one sister-in-law, Patricia Kline; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Kimber Jr., Paul, Harold and Clair Kline.

A private memorial service will be held at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.

Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown.
