Ernest A. Pester, 73, of McClure passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
He was born April 15, 1952, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Eugene M. and Jane (Cramer) Pester. On May 5, 1973, he married the former Anna M. “Cookie” Bracken who survives.
Ernest was a graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA.
He loved cars and worked as an auto mechanic for many years.
He was a member of the NRA. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target shooting. He loved cats, dogs, and birds. Ernest always enjoyed when he got the chance to go fishing with his dad.
Surviving in addition to his wife Cookie of 52 years is one son, Ernie A. Pester Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer Betham and Jennifer (DJ) Lyter; one grandson, Trent Betham; and one brother, George (Michele) Pester.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene M. Pester.
At Ernest’s request no services will be held.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
