Donald P Reiss

Donald P. Reiss, 79, of McClure, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.

He was born Dec. 27, 1943, in Lewistown, a son of the late Paul and Iva Mae (Klinger) Reiss.

Donald was a 1961 graduate of West Snyder High School and went on to attend Penn State University.

He was a member of Mount Bethel Church of McClure.

Donald worked as an interior painter for Pic Hockenbrock and also worked in maintenance at Kirby Mfg. and Lozier in McClure.

Donald liked riding bike in his younger years. He also enjoyed baking bread and playing classical guitar.

Surviving are one sister, Sally (Ken) Hassinger; niece, Ashley Hassinger; and nephew, Isaac Hassinger.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at Mount Bethel Church of McClure, 16 E. Specht St., McClure, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Donald Wise officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Donald's memory may be made to Mount Bethel Church of McClure, 16 E. Specht St., McClure, PA 17841.

Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
