Diane B. Mazzoni, 81, formerly of Wilmington, DE entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Linden Village in Lebanon, PA. She was born March 11, 1944, in Beavertown, a daughter of the late Ira R. and Frona H. (Bingman) Bobb. In November 1963 she married Robert G. “Bob” Mazzoni who preceded her in death on March 13, 2025. Diane was a 1962 graduate of West Snyder High School. She then went on to earn her associate’s degree from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE in 1964. She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church of Wilmington, DE where she was a choir member and helped with The Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels. Diane worked as a preschool teacher at Grace Methodist Church in Wilmington and as a cashier at Acme for 20 years until her retirement. After retirement Diane and Bob traveled through Europe and visited family and their extended family in the United States. Diane’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and her extended family. Surviving is one son, Robert I. (Shari) Mazzoni; one daughter, Helen (John) Lillard; five grandchildren, Mary Lillard, Colin Lillard, Ashley Mazzoni-Testa, Caitlin C. Mazzoni-Kelly, and Brianna B. Mazzoni; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Suzanne Baker; two nieces, Annette Curfman and Michelle Luciotti; and one nephew, Mark Baker. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dennis Baker. A private graveside service will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Beavertown with Rev. Lisa Schuster officiating. Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
