Dennis W Parrish Sr.

Dennis W. Parrish Sr., 79, of McClure passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at his home.

He was born September 28, 1946 in Lancaster, a son of the late Rev. Paul and Nancy (Gyer) Parrish. On January 3, 1971 he married the former Deborah J. Hoover who survives.

Dennis worked as a truck driver for over 30 years until his retirement.

He raced in his younger years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and tinkering in his garage.

In addition to his wife Deborah of 54 years, he is survived by four children, Shelley (Richard) Hormel, Nancy Buczeskie and Edward Buczeskie, Michelle Myers, and Dennis (Jill) Parrish Jr.; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Troy, Ramsey, Skylar, Kara, Dylan, Jayden, Maisie, and Landen; five great-grandchildren, Nolan, Isis, Gage, Liam, and Blake; two brothers, Ronald and Terry Parrish; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by one son, Ronald L. Parrish; one grandson, Logan W. Parrish; and two sisters, Sandy Doudrick and Rita Jacobs.

At Dennis' request, no services will be held.

Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
