Debra J. Knepp, 67, of Beaver Springs, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
She was born May 7, 1958, in Danville, a daughter of Caroline (Manbeck) Kissinger and the late Elwood File. On March 8, 1986, she married Todd W. Knep,p who survives.
Debra was a 1976 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
She was employed as a meat packer at National Beef in Selinsgrove.
In 2017, Debra became a member of the Unit 77 Auxiliary in Houston, Texas, when her uncle Bill Manbeck gave her a PUFL membership. She had been an outstanding member for 8 years.
Debra enjoyed listening to live music, including the bands Jesse, Modern Outlaw, Cadillac Shakers, and Lucky Afternoon. She also enjoyed going on cruises, camping, and baseball. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Todd, and her mother, Caroline, Debra is survived by two daughters, Tara (Bill) Griffith and Laura (Lester) Long; four grandchildren, Alex, Darren and Bailey Sweigart and Lynn Stoltzfus; three great-grandchildren, John W. Page, Alakai Sweigart, and Carter Stoltzfus; and one brother, Mike (Donna) File.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Pamela Paul, and her stepfather, Jerry Kissinger.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10-11 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, followed by a memorial service at 11 with Rev. Dr. Dietmar Plajer officiating.
Burial will be held in Dreisbach Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, at the convenience of the family.
