DeElma A. Kline, 79, of Beaver Springs passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Brookdale Grayson View, Selinsgrove.
She was born March 9, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Robert Beckley and Mary L. (Grove) Sterling. On Aug. 25, 1966 she married Stephen R. Kline who survives. DeElma’s passing breaks a marital union of 59 years.
DeElma was a 1965 graduate of Mifflinburg High School. Following high school, she attended the Thompson Institute.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Reformed Church in Beavertown.
Early in life she worked as a secretary for the borough of Mifflinburg and went on to work at Farm Credit. She also worked in the cafeteria at Beaver Adams Elementary School and West Snyder High School until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, DeElma is survived by two daughters, Suzette (Ryan) Reich and Stephanie (Scott) Zimmerman; one grandson, Luke (Tasha) Zimmerman; and one great-granddaughter, Mable Zimmerman.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20 at 2:00 pm in Mifflinburg Cemetery with Rev. Carl H. Bergerson officiating.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
