Christopher Clemens Obituary

Christopher J. Clemens, 75, of Milton, PA passed away peacefully from Alzheimer’s complications on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Williamsport North Nursing and Rehab where he had resided for the past several years.
Born August 31, 1949 in Danville, Chris was the oldest son of the late Harold Clemens, Jr. and the late Hilda James Clemens. 
Chris graduated from The Hill School in Pottstown, PA in 1968. He graduated from George Washington University in Washington D.C in 1972 and went on to earn a Master of Architecture in 1975 from The Harvard University Graduate School of Design. 
He apprenticed at the Cooper-Lecky Partnership in Georgetown, Washington D.C. during college and after graduate school. Chris returned to his hometown of Milton in 1979 where he opened his own architecture firm and from 1979-80 served as President of the Milton Chamber of Commerce. Later, he expanded into the design-build industry, designing, developing and managing the Millward Estates condominium community in Lewisburg.
Also a published writer, Christopher co-authored the book, “Death, Grim Realities and Comic Relief” with childhood friend Mark Smith.
He leaves behind his younger brother, David Clemens (married to Linette Azinger) of Milton; two daughters, Samantha Clemens Powers (married to Patrick Powers) of Hingham, MA and Stephanie Grace Clemens of Barcelona, Spain; and two grandchildren, Sophie James Powers and Summer Anne Powers; his ex-wife, Candace Clemens.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
