Charlotte L. Moyer, 86, of Beaver Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1938, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late James W. and Gertrude (Daugherty) Phelps. On July 5, 1958, she married Arlen W. Moyer who survives.
Charlotte was a 1956 graduate of Reading High School.
She loved horses and horseback riding when she was younger and for many years, she raised Nubian goats. Charlotte enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, and tending to her flower beds and she was known to be a social butterfly. Most importantly, she loved her Lord Jesus and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband Arlen of 66 years are two sons, Robin (Ella) Moyer and Timothy (Valerie) Moyer; three daughters, Dawn (Jeffrey) Farnsworth, Beth (Alfred) Yoder, and Amy Knepp and her ex-husband, Bradley; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and her extended family on her husband's side where she gained many family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Oliver Moyer.
A celebration of life service will be held at Manbeck Mennonite Church, 14093 Stage Rd., Beaver Springs on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Charlotte's memory may be made to your local fire and ambulance department.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
