Charles E. Aumiller Jr., 89, of Beavertown passed away on Saturday, October 19 at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born July 15, 1935 in Myerstown, a son of the late Charles E. Aumiller Sr. and Isabel Ward. On April 20, 1963 he married the former Margaret E. “Peg” Dorman who survives.
Charles attended the Beavertown United Methodist Church.
Charles honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
In addition to his wife Peg of 61 years, Charles is survived by two daughters, Beth (Jimmy) Roush and Holly (Karl) Bubb; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Maryann) Roush, Jodie Roush, Jason Ramer, Corey (Marra) Ramer and Logan Bubb; three great-grandchildren, Abbie, Addie and James.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Hile and John and James Aumiller; one sister, Aletha Powell.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Tommy Rubillo officiating.
Full military honors will be accorded by the Middlewest Veterans Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
