Carol McKnight Obituary

Carol D. McKnight, 69, of McClure, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born May 1, 1955, in Lewistown, a daughter of Gloria J. (Romig) Moyer and the late Harold L. "Herbie" Folk. Carol was married to Jacob "Jake" McKnight who survives.

Carol attended West Snyder High School.

She worked at Kinney Shoe Factory, Mattern's Hatchery, J.P.M., Kirby's in McClure, and Rayauda's Restaurant.

Carol enjoyed playing bingo and watching NASCAR. She was a Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Jake; are one son, Troy (Amy) DeLong; two daughters, Tonya (Shawn) Morris and Tatum (Nathan) Walter; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Wayne Folk, Mark Motyl, Brad Folk; four sisters, Sharon Knepp, Kathy "Cook" Morrison, Pamela Hackenburg, Sherry Wagner; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Kay Folk; and her stepfather, Jake Moyer.

A viewing will be held Friday, June 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, followed by the funeral service at 11 with Tommy Rubillo officiating.
