Carol E. Fultz, 75, of Beaver Springs, passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Dec. 1, 1947, in Beaver Springs, a daughter of the late C. Melvin "Bill" and Florence (Ammerman) Fleming. On June 3, 1967, she married John C. Fultz who preceded her in death on July 21, 2023.
Carol was a graduate of West Snyder High School with the class of 1965.
She was an active member of the Bannerville Church of the Brethren.
Carol was a homemaker for 56 years and babysat many children over the years. She loved cooking for her family and having a full house. Children were the light of her life, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their activities and traveling across the country.
Surviving are two daughters, Lori (Mark) Bornman and Gwen (Bobby) Davis; five grandchildren, Tyler (Kasey) Davis, Emily (Trent) Rottscheit, Lynsey and Kenzie Fultz, and Scott Bornman; five great-grandchildren, Elaina, Rylee, Brieah Rottscheit, and Reid and Lincoln Davis; three brothers, Melvin (Harriet) Fleming, Michael (Diane) Fleming, and Dennis (Martha) Fleming; one sister, Amy (Frank) Romeo; one sister-in-law, Barb (Herb) McMaster; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John C. Fultz Jr.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Bannerville Church of the Brethren, 7502 Stage Road, McClure, with Pastor Jeffrey Snyder officiating.
Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs.
